Your inquiry is not clear enough to answer. Are you working as a faculty or in other position? If you are working as a faculty and have some publications, then getting GC is not hard at all. If you are in other position,the it depends on your employer. If you are not qualified for EB1 or EB2 (NIW), then you need to go through Labor certification. Good-Luck

Easy to get GC from University for positions that require a bachelors degree and above, since they don't do any illegal.
Labor certification will be already verified during H1B filing. Everything verified during H1b.

It's very easy to get GC from University. You can do EB2 if you have Master's degree and EB3 if not. From EB2, you can get GC within 6-9 months of your processing start. Gud luck.
