Folks one of my fren is going to Nepal while he is on the OPT period. As far as I know one cannot leave US during this period. Do you think he might have problem on the port of entry while returning back. Has anyone faced the same situation before. There are different opinions regarding this but no one is sure. Can you guys throw some light on this.

U need to have Valid OPT card,Valid VISA and Job offer Letter in hand in order to return from Nepal if ur friend is in OPT..Last month couple of my friends went back to their country and returned back without a problem..But ur friend needs to fulfill the above mentioned documents..Lack of above mentioned documents(even one of them) will severy affect his return at the US port of entry..
