The Axe’ band, which made a
huge fan following with their punchy numbers over the years has now
broken. Sharad Shrestha (guitarist) has left the band due to his
personal matter and is soon flying to Hong Kong.

After the band's studio album 'Kamasaka', Sharad Shrestha had gone
to Hong Kong and returned after staying there for few months. Five
months after his living in Kathmandu, he is going back to Hong Kong but
will be staying there longer. Shiva Mukhiya (bass, vocal) and Surendra
Shrestha (drums) are already missing Sharad and his unique guitar
technique from the day when Sharad informed them about his planning.
All those punchy numbers generated by just three band members were
amazing. Shiva and Surendra had no other words except wishing him luck
for his future. Taking Sharad’s suggestion, existing members are
planning to organize an audition in search of a good guitarist to
replace Sharad. Moreover, Sharad informed CyberSansar that he will be
back in the band after few years. 'To create effects just like Sharad
is not everyone's cup of tea.' Shiva adds.

Besides being in the band, Shiva has his own recording studio that has
recently turned into a music company 'Chromatic Sound Pvt Ltd' and is
coming with albums like Madira, Bhagya Khulecha and others. Surendra
Shrestha too has his own business; Namaste Restaurant and Bar at the
main chowk of Thamel.
