I got H1-B last week and I would like to apply visa for my wife as F2 dependent as I will be on OPT till October. Is there any problem to do this or I can do? I know I have to change F2 to H4 later.
Things don't happen as expected. One of my relatives was in same situation and her visa was denied as her husband was on OPT. So, If I were you, I would wait until the status changes from OPT to H1-B. You may also contact your lawyer.
