can anybody tell me how much it costs to apply for the student visa (US) from Nepal . do you pay the sevis fee before or after you get the visa? is there any other fee once you get visa?

I think its before the visa. I remember taking the receipt with me during the interview.

Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) is always before the visa. No matter whether you get visa or not you will still have an I-20 that is an Immigration document. To maintain your records, fee is accessed.
