New Delhi, May 22 (PTI) The national language was the choice of only four Union Ministers while taking oath as members of the Cabinet today while the rest of them preferred English. New entrant to the Cabinet C P Joshi, Union Minister Kamalnath, veteran NCP leader Sharad Pawar and Meira Kumar were the four ministers who took oath of office and secrecy in Hindi.

-------------------------------------------------- Most of the Ministers and other dignitaries present, had turned up in their finery with UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi wearing a blue and maroon cotton saree, while her daughter Priyanka was dressed in a purple sari. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was dressed in his trademark white kurta-pajama and a blue turban.

Pranab Mukherjee who took oath immediately after the Prime Minister was attired in the typical Bengali dhoti-kurta and a shawl. Trinamool chief Mamta Banerjee was probably the only exception who wore her simple white cotton sari with a blue border.

PTI.

But why our VP Charesanada took oath in Hindi while in India even their ministers dont take oath in Hindi?

Don't worry, Morange, those indian politician still has not got over the fact that they were slaves to original english speaker (East india company); few of the nepalese politician are desperately seeking to be slaves of those slaves.
