It might be a good question for some and dumb one for the others. Keep in mind no question is a dumb question  :)
Below is the Scenario:

Person X is currently residing in State A and working for a company in State A.
Now person X wants to move and reside in State B and continue work in State A. Company in State A is going to sponsor the Green Card. Will it matter in anyways in regards to the processing time when filing for GC?
Previous experience and knowledge in this matter is highly appreciated.

Thanks
Hyper

It is a hear say.
Really it does not matter, but it may delay on processing. Once you move out , you have to provide new mailing address.  Who ever in process of getting green card like to stay same address until you get GC.

So basically if you are  starting the process with the new address of the new state it should  not matter...?

Hyper,

If that person X is yourself, contact me. You really need to know how it works.

Where you live does not really matter in a situation you have mentioned. It may matter only for where you file your GC to but does not matter at all for any other things.

BetterNepal, I think you can do that since GC is for future employment. However, why a company sponsor somebody who is working for another company just hoping that you will work for that company. How will they benefit if you don't join them?
