my ipod works but i don't hear no sound......i replaced my earphones, used computer speaker still no sound.......whats wrong??? i put ipod in my car's dashboard for couple of days since then its not working.any suggestion???

Go to settings and select the default setting button. That should do the trick.

Same thing happened to me. Now i got new one and i never leave it in my car. I think over exposure to the heat from the sun messed it up.
