Hey there!

I'm planning to go Nepal on december for short period of time. But the thing is back about 1 year ago I've had little bit of problem which leads me to the court. But fortunately I got lucky and the case was dismissed. Being that reason, does it still matters to go back to Nepal and Not having any problems at port of entry?? Does that found in my record or do they really check those stuffs at port of entry even the case is already dismissed?? I seriously need your help please. I would like to hear from someone who knows about it.

Thanks in advance,

If the case was dismissed, then why are you worried? You did not mention what the situation was so how can people give you their opinions just based on limited information?

Thank you very much for your reply. The thing is I was cought by police for dealing W**d and stiffs one day and got the letter from court saying that I have to be there on specific day. And I show up at the court on time at same day they mentioned but fortunately my case was dismissed by the court. That was the whole story. I was just wondering does that still matters me for going back to Nepal and getting back here at port of entry??? I know I did some stupid thing that I should not be doing but it's too late now.

Again thanks and hope to hear more from you...

If they did take your fingerprint, and when you come back from Nepal you need a new visa then there will be a problem. If you have a valid visa then I don't think there should be any problem at port of Entry.

I had my fingerprint taken, when I went back home I had to get a new visa. They took forever to grant me a new visa. Cause my fingerprint at the embassy matched with the fingerprint that the FBI had. SO go at your own risk or consult a immigration officer.

Good luck!!

Nepthug420!

Thanks for your help. what you mean about the fingerprint?? well police and the court official didn't take my fingerprint when that happen. The only fingerprint they took from me was at the first time when I came over here and that was it. I do have a valid visa all other things with me. looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks again...

Well I guess they didn't take you to jail? Usually when they take you to jail they take a fingerprint. If none of that applied then you should be fine to go back home and come.

Good luck!!

Well, do you have a proof of case dismissed papers? If you do, just keep them with you just incase. As far as I think if judge dismissed the case, there is nothing to worry about.
