Our dear friend, Dawa Sherpa passed away on the 15th of October 2002 at a
young age of 36. Dawa was a great friend who brought much joy and happiness
to all those around him. He was a friend whose company was much enjoyed and
will be missed. He was a family man whose love for his wife, daughter, and
family was much admired. Dawa spent more than five years in Boston and
impressed many around him during that time. He participated in many GBNC
events and represented Boston as one of its best soccer players. He
sponsored many GBNC activities and was always eager to help. Dawa touched
the lives of many and we will always be grateful that we knew a friend like
him.

Dawa is survived by his lovely daughter, Bianca Sherpa, and his loving wife,
Babita Lama. We mourn the family's loss with them and take comfort in
knowing that Dawa today is in a better place.

For any questions, please contact Bik Yonjan at bik555@hotmail.com or
call him at 617 529 6240 .

It is said that Bhagwan needs good people more than we need them to be with us. Dawa was one of such persons, whom Bhagwan needed urgently. We know, Physically Dawa is no more with us but the memories of his gentle nature will always be alive. We pray for the peace to his soul and mourn the demise of the Sherpa family. Our heartfelt condolences to Babita and Bianca
