There are certain circumstances and events when we long to break physical and spiritual barriers, we break the walls, pull down the curtains, bypass every ethical and moral limit. Sometime we sell ourselves and even our faith holding the absolute being just to attain a little fame. With that little fame we boast. We want to be important, to be somebody, and to be known. The rule of nature tells us that we need to be dynamic. we need to alter ourselves, pass out every obstacles and capture the fame that renders us to the limelight.

Why we alter our beliefs and habits and fit into the beliefs of what others have already carved? Is it just for the sake of fitting in it? Why the world is bipolar? Why there are people of name and fame at the top and the people of obscure and ill repute at the bottom. Why we fight, dread our power and spend our whole life to reach the top?

Indeed, Darwinian theory holds true for what i feel but why the world opts to persist in that manner? Why the world shows us it's bitterness for being inconsistent? Is it the effects of materialistic world? let's say for an example, a person who is worth nothing and is not capable in the depth of mental horizon wins the election through the falsified campaign and becomes the President and at the same time a sensible person who has an enigmatic charm suffers the bad defeat. Why the world is always demanding something from us in retrospect of whoever we are?

Communism is a solution to this, maybe. Almost everyone is equal. Everyone - though having different professions and working in different ways - earns almost the same.

I guess this might be kinda bizarre but I think an extension of Darwinian theory kinda explains this. I think this approach to the world, that you lament about, could be the way that could be most effective for the progress of our species. When everyone is "equal" under every condition, there is almost no incentive for anyone to work real hard. So, there should be a reward structure that motivates people to work hard. So, there is this structure in our society that embeds in us this way of approaching the world in which we try to get as much as we can for ourselves. And in doing so we benefit the world by some amount. See the progress in science and technology - we know so much, can manipulate so much. We have already accomplished a lot of things that our religions say "gods" do, and with time this difference between gods and us will only decrease.

There are always some negative effects though. Some people will not want to work hard but will want that reward. They search for shortcuts. So, there's mess.

But why the world is so swampy and filled with people who are always demanding from us? All we have to do is give whatever we have got. We have to beat the drum and tell them here i am. And only then people will consider us. If we fail in doing so we will be of less importance to them and they will no longer care about us. It is like being a frog croaking all the time looking for a mate who would admire us. But why?

There's two side to a 2 dimension object, three sides to a 3 D object and so on. You should see the other sides of the world you are living in. It is beautiful.
However, to answer your question: The world opts to operate in "that" manner because the world is too illiterate.

Don't let somebody else run your life. Any individual needs to find his/her own calling or purpose in life. You need to announce your ambition to the inquisitor or let them know you have better plans if you don't wanna reveal much. Here is the most important part, always avoid being seen in the eyes of the next person that you are a lost ship drifting on an open sea else they might take you for a loser. The funny thing is that most of the people, who try to be too demanding of you, are the ones who have more failed and miserable lives than you.  As long as your words or deeds are not unduly inconveniencing somebody else, you are free to do whatever your heart desires.

But on the flip side of it, working toward a goal should mainly come from within. The motivations to succeed can be fueled by the prospects of all the little perks like fine clothes, cars and chicks that literally fall upon your feet once you become successful.

Raju,

Everyone is selfish, its just a matter of how much. As the world grows bigger and more populous, people grow lonelier, feel alienated. There is this thing called the butterfly effect, and I believe in it wholeheartedly. A small insignificant thing CAN and WILL lead to a chain of reactions producing something incomprehensibly massive.

But blinded by our own selfishness, we don't usually foresee the ripple effect of our decisions on others.

It is a sad fact that we gotta fit ourselves into this already carved up model of the world. And being "free" is really just another utopian dream.

Which brings me to my main purpose for this comment. As Mr. Hyde aptly put it,  "[You gotta] find  [your] own calling or purpose in life." The 'demanding' people you talk about are just that. Very demanding, very egoistic, thinks all other lifeform is inferior to them, abhors failure, and are very good at using people for their purposes.

Now is when you have got to see the doughnut and not the hole. Those kinds of folks think everyone is like them, but truly, only make up a small percentage of the people. Dont make the mistake of assuming everyone out there is shrewd and demanding and 'chandaal' and what not. But dont be too naive not to know one when you see him/her ;) Usually if you follow your intuitions, it will give you subtle warning signs.

Life is short, but full of decisions. The game is about making the right ones :)

Mr. Hyde and DD thanks a lot bros for sharing your concern,

Points to be noted!

"Any individual needs to find his/her own calling or purpose in life. You need to announce your ambition to the inquisitor or let them know you have better plans if you don't wanna reveal much."

"As the world grows bigger and more populous, people grow lonelier, feel alienated. There is this thing called the butterfly effect, and I believe in it wholeheartedly. A small insignificant thing CAN and WILL lead to a chain of reactions producing something incomprehensibly massive."

My latent conviction is indeed firm and resolute but sometimes i am afraid whether i could face the world if i went inconsistent! Often time i fail to detect the light that flashes across my mind and seeing all sorts of people yelling and crying at me i feel real hard to differentiate, who is made up of foolish consistency? Is it me or them? Why the world operates in this manner? Predominantly why our mind operates in this fashion? Why don't we lock ourself within the four walls of the room and live a life of our own? Why we have to flaunt?

"Why don't we lock ourself within the four walls of the room and live a life of our own?"

I guess the answers you are looking for will present themselves to you in a timely manner friend. Sometimes, more than often, every one feels helpless and diminutive when standing besides the giant immovable rock of the human collective conscience.

There is only one truth; someday we will all die. So live your life accordingly :)

Cheers,

Have a good weekend.
