Give me some expert advice, is it good idea to invest in real states in Nepal, particularly in Kathmandu. Especially the real states value is going up by day and night.

khai kun din crash hunchha, tara my friends have made karodau rupees overnight, and they have forced me to think whether I should also go there, and do some investment. I am looking at 'still growing' markets such as Chitwan.

Absolutely man. If you've got $$, forget investing in the American Market, Kathmandu ( or Valley ) is the way to go! If you bought a piece of land at 4 per ana right now, the chances of it going up to 10 lakhs/ ana in 6 months are very high. Further, even if the market were to crash, it will definitely come up.

I don't think valley offers as much profit as Chitwan or other emerging market. They double overnight..

But whether one's willing to invest outside the valley or not is the real question, don't you agree? I mean I'm from Kathmandu with absolutely no links with Chitwan. Why'd I want to buy land in Chitwan? Further, security issues outside the valley could hurt the market severely since there is no stability.

You are right about not investing in the places you don't know. However, I don't think there are security issues in Chitwan or Pokhara, at least not any more than KTM. In fact, KTM is now infested with gangs, and they can be found in any land plotting sites.

Some of my relatives sold their land in Kirtipur when they thought they got a really good deal and then suddenly they didn't know what to do with the money. They bought land in eastern Chitwan, near national park, and now the price has increased by 4 times. They recently sold half of their land, and now they are kneedeep in this shit, because money seems to come so easily to them! If land price crashes they will probably be crushed since they are now borrowing money to invest in lands and are relying on their luck in finding quick buyers.

Personally, I think Chitwan and Pokhara are the safest bet now. But Pokhara doesn't have a lot of land left, so it will require a lot of good luck to find good land there. Chitwan is shitty place to live (heat, humidity), but they keep on making it better. I like the fact that there are wide roads, so many hospitals and a national park.

Hello Chaps,

If you have money and want to make it grow then just buy land in Kathmandu will multiply your investment within a short period. I also do the same after undergone other businesses that made me alomost at  the same level of a begger but ever since i begin investing on land i recovered all what i had lost.

If anyone loking to buy land you may contact me on 9851101056 or jasrai2050@hotmail.com. I have total 7.5 ropani land in Chunikhel Kathmandu, and it is on sale on the rate of Rs, 300,000 per ana in piece, and Rs, 280,000 for wholesale who wish to buy all.
