To practice as a nurse, you need to get a license and be registered from your home country

For migration to USA, you need to pass NCLEX-RN exam. NCLEX-RN stands for National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses .After you pass this exam, you will get the license which will qualify you to practice as a nurse under working visa or migration visa. Before you sit for the exam you need to get a B.Sc in Nursing degree from any recognised nursing colleges in India, Nepal or other countries

Get a nursing degree; pass the CGFNS exam; pass the NCLEX_RN exam.

What is the CGFNS exam ?

It stands for Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools, which ensures licensure eligibility and other US practice requirements for foreign-educated healthcare professionals. The CGFNS examination is an assessment of the candidate's probability of success on the NCLEX-RN licensing examination. Successful candidates receive a CGFNS Certificate. You can do that exam in INDIA

After completing a nursing degree, you are required to pass the National Council Licensure Examination to become a Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN). NCLEX-RN is the examination that registered nurses are required to pass in order to obtain a nursing license in the U.S. This examination is available in the U.S.

REGISTERED NURSE VISA (H1-C) BASIC REQUIREMENTS

The Registered Nurse Visa requires applicants to obtain a visa to work and live in the US if the purpose of their stay is for employment at a US healthcare facility in an area of need. To qualify for the Registered Nurse Visa, applicants must be licensed to practice professional nursing in their home country. Also, applicants must obtain licensing in their respective US State prior to the start of their employment or obtain a temporary license.

Applicants may also be required to meet certain health and character requirements as well as, in some instances, English language requirements.

Registered Nurse Visas are granted for a period of a 3-year stay in the United States. No further extensions are possible under this category
