you need to get admission first to the college in which you were trying to move. for that talk with the international / admission office about the requirements. if you meet the requirements, apply for it and have your i-20 ready for the Fall. Then you are almost done.

At the end you need to transfer your SEVIS from the previous one to the newer one. Transfer your SEVIS when your Spring semester is over or you can do after the Summer. Cheers :)

हा हा हा हा, २ बर्षको छौ भने चाइ यसो बुबु माम खाँदै ओछ्यान मुत्तै बस्दा राम्रो हुन्छ, ठुलो भये पछी तेसो गर्न दिदैनन साथी।

anyway, you want to go to community college, here is the procedure:

1. First talk to your advisor, do not do anything without talking to him.

2. basicly you go to community college for the pre-requisite courses, so find out what are the pre-requisite courses that you need to take.

3. find out if the community college is offering those courses.

4. Take an appointment with one of the counsellers of the community college

5. tell your story to him once again

6. He will let you know the procedure to admit in the college.

7. Follow his instruction and register for the classes.
8. Again, your advisor of the university should know what the heck are you doing outside, and also you have to keep in mind the minimum credit hour requirement. you cannot just take 6 credit hours in community college and enjoy masturbating all night. you should always take at least the required credit hours being an international student.

That is correct. I strongly suggest you to talk to the international student advisor. tell him everything, and listen to his suggestion.

I didn't speak to my international advisor even a single time when i transferred to community college from university. It is not required. Just gathered the documents required at new college, when time came to transfer SEVIS, sent a fax, they sent it back to my new college and I am thru, that's it. I don't know why do international advisor waste time in such act which is a loss to their college. International advisors can never say no to you if you have been accepted by another college because it a student's right to choose whichever college they like to study.

I-20 SEVIS transfer bhaye pachhi matra aauchha,

btw which community college you are intending to transfer to in texas? I am at Houston Community College, it is a good college. Tuition fee is 1600 per 12 credit hr. No health insurance required. But u can always buy for your good sake. Most professors who teach at University of Houston teach here too, so will be easier to transfer in future as most credits will get transferred if u wanna transfer to University of Houston. Urban area, aauna saath kaam pahinchha, think abt it.

I suggest you that you fill out the application as transfer student of new college now, summer ma kaam garda garda application deadline pass bhayeko thaha hudaina.

Main thing u need to do now is fill the application online for desired community college now, i mean today or tomorrow. Good luck....

F-1 transfers from U.S. high school/college/universities must provide verification of status prior to receiving an I-20 from North Lake College. An Academic/USCIS Standing Formmust be completed by the last school attended and be faxed or mailed directly to the International Center.
