i suggest you to go slr rather than dslr. Slr camera gives a more of a vibrant picture. Also the pixels are comparatively high. Also its more fun to go the slr way.

For entry level it really doesn't matter, all of them have similar features but the Canon Rebel XSI is better then Nikon D3000 and Sony A230.

Hey naninani Try http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=dslr+camera&cid=6294057905926676357&sa=title#p .... It has high MP and you can even record HD videos..Optical zoom is okey.. you can always add .. Try it and let me know how is it if you buy.. m planin to get one as well..!!!
