How much do you love riding? Probably not as much as this guy did. David Morales Colon, 22, was shot to death April 22 in Puerto Rico. For his wake, Colon was embalmed and mounted on his Honda CBR600F4i with full Repsol colors.

The work was performed by the Marin Funeral Home in San Juan, which also made headlines two years ago for presenting the embalmed body of Angel Luis “Pedrito” Pantojas Medina standing up in the corner for his own funeral.

Colon will be displayed on his Honda until his burial, scheduled for later this afternoon. As for the bike, it was reportedly a gift from his uncle and brought by his family to the funeral home for the wake. There’s no word on what will happen to the motorcycle after the funeral, but for now, ride on, David, ride on.

JAKARTA (Reuters)
- Forget about getting a job as a police officer in Indonesia's Papua
if you have had your penis enlarged. You won't get it, according to
local media reports citing the Papua police chief.

Oddly Enough

An
applicant "will be asked whether or not his vital organ has been
enlarged," said Papua police chief Bekto Suprapto, quoted on local
website Kompas.com.

"If he has, he will be considered unfit to join the police or the military."

The
ban was applied since the unnatural size causes "hindrance during
training," said police spokesman Zainuri Lubis in Jakarta, quoted by
news portal Detik.com.

Indonesia's remote easternmost province is home to Papuan tribes, many of whom are known for wearing penis gourds.

A
low-level separatist insurgency has waged in the resources-rich part of
Indonesia for decades and there is a heavy police and military presence
there.

Papuans use a local
technique to achieve the enlargement, according to a sexologist quoted
by local newspaper Jakarta Globe, wrapping the penis with leaves from
the "gatal-gatal" (itchy) tree so that it swells up "like it has been
stung by a bee," the expert said.

CANBERRA (Reuters)
- An Australian woman who ran down and killed a man who threw
cheese-flavored snacks at her car was jailed Thursday for 25 years.

Oddly Enough

Sydney
woman Sarah May Ward intended to injure Eli Westlake for throwing the
snacks at her vehicle, judge Roderick Howie told the New South Wales
Supreme Court, describing the 21-year-old's murder as "a senseless act
of anger."

"She clearly wanted to
teach the young men a lesson," the Australian Associated Press quoted
judge Howie as saying as he sentenced Ward to jail for a minimum 18
years.

The jury was told Ward, 39,
had drunk two bottles of wine and used cannabis, amphetamine drugs and
anti-depressants before getting into her car in Sydney's northern
suburbs on June 7, 2008.

She
decided impulsively to use the vehicle as a weapon after Westlake threw
the snacks at her car as a joke while walking home with his brother and
a group of friends.

The judge said
while there was more involved than Westlake's brother and friends
claimed, an "incensed" Ward had driven directly at Westlake after a
brief physical altercation with the group, running him over and killing
him.

Ward told the court she had been scared of the group and hit the car's accelerator by mistake while trying to get away.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters)
- It would make a good gag for a comedy if it weren't actually true:
thieves have broken into a Dutch prison to steal the inmates'
televisions.

Oddly Enough

Twice
in the last six weeks, burglars broke into a minimum-security prison
and stole TVs from cells while prisoners were on weekend furloughs, a
spokesman for the justice ministry said on Wednesday.

The prison, in the town of Hoorn 42 km (26 miles) northeast of Amsterdam, is for inmates near the end of their sentences.

The
facility is what the Dutch government calls a "very modestly protected
environment," where prisoners transition back into society. They are
typically allowed weekend leave, which is when the burglars decided to
take advantage.

The thefts
happened on two separate weekends about a month apart in March and
April. The ministry spokesman said it has still not been able to
confirm how the burglars gained access.

A
spokeswoman for the public prosecutor's office in the region confirmed
only that a break-in at the prison had been reported to police and
added that no arrests had yet been made.

CARACAS (Reuters)
- Venezuelan police have arrested a man and woman accused of
impersonating plastic surgeons and providing women with silicone breast
and buttock implants from an illegal clinic in an apartment.

Oddly Enough

Cosmetic
surgery, especially breast enlargement, is widespread in
image-conscious Venezuela, which is known for beauty queens who have
won many international pageant titles.

Reinaldo
Henriquez was charged with aggravated fraud while sidekick Hersi
Rodriguez was accused of aiding and abetting him by recruiting clients
and taking them to their surgery in the western city of Maracay, the
Attorney General's office said.

Henriquez,
26, and Rodriguez, 34, are beauticians who belonged to a gang called
"The Silicons" and attracted customers with rock-bottom prices, local
media reported.

Police were tipped
off by a former client and caught the suspects on April 12 in a raid of
the apartment, which contained surgical equipment and a surgical table,
authorities said.

A deep recession
has not diminished Venezuelans' appetite for cosmetic surgery, with
many people taking out loans for operations to lift their spirits,
doctors say.

This one must have made it into weird history records:

NSW man makes wrong turn... to Geelong

ERIC, 80, said he loves to drive. And drive, and drive. Even if it is in the wrong direction, through a different state.

He
was missing for nine hours after he left his friend's house in Yass at
7.15am attempting to drive home to Pambula on the NSW south-East coast.

But the man, named only as 'Eric', took a wrong turn and kept driving unconcerned about his unfamiliar surroundings.

He
travelled nearly 600km before stopping at the Avalon BP service station
on the Princess Hwy to ask for help from two police officers.

Constable
Tom Windlow and Leading Senior Constable Clayton Smith, from the
Traffic Drug and Alcohol section, had stopped at the service station
about 3.45pm after an operation in Corio.

 'I was stretching
my legs, waiting for Tom to come back to the car when this little old
man came up to me saying he was lost," Sen-Constable Smith said.

"He handed me his mobile and asked if I could speak to his wife."

Eric's wife told the officers her husband, who police said suffers slight dementia, had been missing for nearly nine hours.

"Believe me, we never expected for her to say he had driven from Yass," Sen-Constable Smith said

Eric was then taken to Sunshine police station where he was reunited with family friends who had driven down from Mt Eliza.

Sen-Constable
Smith and Constable Windlow said the accidental adventurer had been
very grateful for their help and told them many stories as they waited
for his friends to arrive.

"When we asked him why he hadn't stopped earlier he replied, "I just like to drive," Sen-Constable Smith said.

Eric and his wife were reunited late yesterday afternoon.
