Hi, Getting a rav4 base trim. The seat cloth in the base trim looks really low quality so I am thinking of getting leather. Dealer have a option to upgrade to third party leather seating for 1200+250 each seat to add in heated feature. So for leather seats and driver+front passenger seat heated will cost me 1700 dollers. The third party leather is lot nicer compared to the toyota one which comes with limited edition.
I need some opinions if it is worth it to get leather seats for 1200 (plus 500 for heated for 2 front seats). I am also worried how bad leather will be in summer/winter and possibility of cracks. Also the price being a little high.

Go for it, if you like the smell of leather but I did not. Not sure how long they last most leather seated car has crack on Driver's seat which looks so ugly and the stain from the contact of skin like the stain in the color of a jacket. .
How about custom seat very comfortable and look decent too.
