Traitors’ betrayals in Nepal from 2006-2010

                                                            By Dirgha Raj Prasai

After 2006, Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and Maoists, in the name of nationality and democracy, kept everyone under illusion and through threat and intimidation forced them to take part in the uprising. The leaders of the so-called big parties have done nothing except treason. Since the 12-point agreement reached in November 2005, at the direction of Indian investigative organization 'RAW', NC, UML and Maoists have risked Nepal's nationality and democracy.

The issues of secularism, republic and federalism incorporated in the 12-point agreement are not their agendas rather a mission of CIA, RAW, European nations and Christians. The Brahmin traitors who are the prominent leaders of NC, UML and Maoist (including various NGOs and INGOs) have with support of foreign tools and resources become active and betrayed this holy land under the direction of foreigners.

The first betrayal was after the agitation in 2006, the contending had the internal support of NC, UML and Maoists who sought the king as the alternative for crisis. Four years ago, on 24 April 2006 an agreement was reached to revive the abolished parliament by them.

Although the monarch did not posses any right to revive the parliament it was done so on the basis of agitation's mandate. Nepali Congress leader late Girija Prasad Koirala was appointed to the Prime Minister. The PM's oath taking was carried at the royal palace by the King. Gradually Prime Minister Girija broke the confidence over the 1990 Constitution and the agreement reached with the king. This is the cause of the current grave situation.

The second betrayal was against the sentiments of the people, whose constitution was tread upon through use of force. Without informing the monarch, on 18 May 2006, in the name of parliamentary declaration - the nation was declared a secular state. Under the straightforward direction of the foreigners, attacks were carried out on the sensitive conventions of the state. Then after, on 15 January 2007, an interim constitution was formulated and he became the head of state as he had desired.

The Maoist army was allowed under Maoist responsibility thereby creating two armies in the nation. After the Constituent Assembly, the election was declared unconstitutional. A caveat was conveyed to the monarchy through the Indian ambassador, that bombs may drop and the responsibility for his security could not be taken if he did not vacate Narayanhiti (which he, of course, did). The 12-point agreement to disrupt communal harmony by raising the issue of ethnic autonomy and entrapping the nation under the stratagems of Maoist army, has worked

The third betrayal was on 18 May 2006. An interim constitution (through the NC, UML and Maoist declaration paper) was proclaimed without keeping a connection with the monarchy. Other than the people's representatives elected through the 1990 Constitution, 83 lawmakers of the Maoist party and activists of other political parties were made the parliamentarians - acting upon self-will.

When the royal institution was still present, the Prime Minister was humorously declared as the head of state, and the House Speaker granted him the right to put the red seal on laws and ordinances. The anti-nationalist interim constitution was amended time and again narrowing it further. The rights of Nepalese citizenship as well as the rivers of Nepal were handed over to India.

The fourth betrayal-as a preliminary preparation to disintegrate the nation by giving support to the notion of One Madhes One State, 4 million Indian nationals were bestowed with Nepalese citizenship certificates, unscrupulously and in an artificial manner. Traitors such as Krishna Sitoula were made the Home Minister and the Nepalese citizenship was distributed to foreigners in extreme haste.

After this, efforts were directed to declare federalism to segregate the nation into ethnic lines. It is revealing now that the UNMIN which represented the US, Britain and European nations, along with Maoists, led the effort to supplant the nation's Hindu status, Bikram Sambat, and Nepalese language with English language, A.D and Christianity. The Maoist leader Prachanda, who opposes imperialist character, amidst a mass meeting of Christians at the Open Theater on 20 April 2010, said 'Those who oppose secularism will be kidnapped' (Rajdhani, 21 April 2010). Clapping will not even be heard from the Christians in such an assemblage, unless profits are made by Maoists and foreigners.

Indian conspiracy is not the only one holding blame for the retrogression of Nepal, but to accept the decisive role of UN-UNMIN was another big betrayal. The US and UN (UNMIN) is pushing Nepal towards a dark future. The chief concern of the US and UNMIN is to make Nepal a springboard against China in the name of Free-Tibet.

UN Human Rights representatives are spending money openly in Nepal and they do not want to inform the government of this. It has been made public that nongovernmental organizations of Nepal, and specifically by these nations, are spending Rs.10 to 15 billion every year Annapurna Post 11 March, 2010). This is how the Brahmins of civil society came to be working as employees of the CIA.

The fifth betrayal was an unholy alliance between UNMIN (that manages the Maoist PLA) and the state's army, which allowed it to be confined to barracks while the Maoist army (with weapons) was handed over the Maoist party's responsibility. There was also a condition that Girija Prasad and Madhav Nepals will be protected by the Maoist army rather than the national army. The Maoist army was taken care of and with their weapons, two armies were created in the nation. This is a betrayal of the nation.

A few months ago Maoist's Baburam Bhattarai said the Maoist party could revolt any time as it had its PLA and weapons intact. This is the cause of this tremendously grave situation.

The sixth betrayal are those who oppose, call general strikes, rape, kill, plunder and become the slaves of foreign forces, a trend which is set by addressing the demands of such and such which are made by people in power. It is in this manner that the rulers after 2006 worked to bring the nation into the condition it became - a failed state.

The Nepalese people are subject to murder, abduction, insecurity, shortage, inflation and more. In pragmatic terms, it is a notorious game that makes us slaves of foreign forces. If that weren't enough, then the Supreme Court gave a new verdict. 'The parliament may carry out amendments of any articles other than revert to one government system from federalism and royal institution from republican setup'. In essence, a Nepali scholar, Ratnasansar Shrestha, writes'The Supreme Court gave a verdict that the amendment cannot be carried out in regard to the royal institution and one government system. Its using power that it does not posess to strangle the right of Constituent Assembly'-(26 April 2010 Gorkhapatra). This is another betrayal.

The seventh betrayal is to not make efforts to draft the new constitution in time, which was stipulated and mandated by the people, while pilfering continues of billions of state properties. To extend the term after failing to draft the constitution in the stipulated time is another IMMENSE betrayal. As the agreement of 24 April 2006 reached with the monarchy has been broken, all the works pertaining to interim constitution, interim parliament and constituent assembly after 24 April has become unsuccessful. The Nepalese people should not be betrayed to systematically erase the existence of Nepal.

The state must inflict strict retribution to traitors working in political parties and non government organizations. The new Constitution cannot be made through traitors. Even if it is drafted, it cannot be supported. Let us not indulge in the vain effort to draft a new constitution. An inclusive cabinet should be formed for the purpose of its modification. It should be done by maintaining coordination and balance between Nepal's nationality, royal institution and its democracy, and on the basis of the monarch's declaration as per the 1990 Constitution of 20 April 2006. It is the best answer for a happy future for the Nepalese people. There is no other alternative.

Finally someone came up with a deep study of Nepal's current situation. Very few of us have understood, the real culprit of current situation is US, UN and EU. Maoists are not communists and they are not run by indians. They used sympathy of poor, illiterate nepalese in the name of communism to lead Nepal to civil war with support of westerners. In fact, maoists are trouble for both india and Nepal. India was always there to create problems in Nepal but the situation got worse after westerners started being active in Nepal. Prachanda, as we have seen, does not have ability to become a leader by himself. He does not have his own opinions and vision. That's the reason why his words change every now and then. Talking about others parties is a waste of time and words. The traitors don't want to give nepalese the chance to think in peace so there are always ups and downs in Nepal so that people always get involved in destruction rather than getting involved in creative works. The coming generation of Nepal is getting worse as they have forgotten to achieve success by hard work. From this scenario it is very clear, Nepal is going be lead by incompetant leaders for the next few decades. Appreciate your knowledge and courage to present the truth!

Anyone who is aware of the new world order NWO agenda will know

1.Rockefellers / Rothschilds (bilderberg group) create the UN
2. UN funds INGOS and NGOS in 3rd world countries like Nepal, South America, Africa
3.  They bring about revolutions in those countries by funding communists (eg Naya Nepal Ganatantra)
4.
They make new provisions in the constitution which allows behavioral
disorders that is harmful to society like homosexuality and secularism.
5. They manage to decrease population of that country leaving the society immoral and irreligious.

Nepal is a mere pawn in the chess board of global politics to be sacrificed or used for the interestes and purpose of the larger player's strategies and interests. OK. I know it hurts to admit it, but where's the news in all of this? What amazes me is that so much is written about Nepal in all these news papers. But the fact of the matter is, at the end of the day, Nepal has been for many years a pawn of the larger players in the global chess game. What I want to know is when will the talking about "the solution" to all of this begin? Does anyone see Nepal playing a larger role than being a mere pawn (to be used or sacrificed) happening in our lifetime? Does anyone see the solution coming in our children's lifetime? Our grandchildren's?

Yes, there is a solution. "Kot-Parba" needs to take place once again. We need to wipe off the entire system and start from the scratch. We will get money and support from countries other than India for rebuilding. We need to choose our friends wisely.  One of the main obstacles to Nepal's development has been close to 100% dependence on India. We have basically given India the "That-was-Easy" button which they have been using over and over again  (from Load-shedding to Petrol-ko-abhaav to blocking supplies of daily use (salt, sugar etc) ) to show us that they indeed control our daily lives. We need to open up to China, even though it pisses off India. Let free market take over, we'll buy stuffs from whoever gives us a good deal.  Stop centralizing every f**king thing. Let there be competition, there are thousands of investors in private sector that would like to invest in Nepal, let them do so. Demolish institutions such as Nepal Telecom (NTC) who has monopoly over the whole communication system. In this age, when people spend half of their lives on Internet trying to acquire knowledge, we Nepalis are stuck with dial-up in majority of places because NTC does not let small companies (who don't have enough money to bribe NTC) even dream about bringing change to the people.

We need a leader who has such vision and who knows that standing up against a giant such as India will probably end up getting him/her assassinated. They can assassinate one of us, two of us, hundred of us, but they can't do it forever, heck this is 21st century, the whole world will be watching us. Do we have leaders as such amongst ourselves? We are talking about revolution here. If you want clean a gutter, you have to get your hands dirty. What say you???

GajjabChaBa,

Love your spirit.

The term 'thinking out of the box' is almost cliche. What I like about what you're saying is that you are asking us Nepalese to 'think out of Nepal.' I think that Nepalese living outside of Nepal can play a big hand in making the kind of 'friendships with other nations' that you're talking about. I don't believe that you need to have an official capacity as an ambassador or a cultural attache to do this. It is just a question of representing the nation in a proper fashion. And you are right, there are many ways to do this. We don't have enough Nepalese living outside of Nepal doing this.

In many ways, if Nepalese made friendships in other nations then our relationship with India and China would be seen in perspective. Because of advances in transportation and communication the world is no longer limited by geography. For us Nepalese to function assuming that our eternal destiny as Nepalese is to ONLY be India and China's bitch, because of our geographical positioning, just does not reflect the reality of the modern world and its opportunities that we live in.

GajjabChaBa, I don't understand this also. Why are we Nepalese not actively seeking out better relationships with other nations?

Main problem in Nepal is everyone seems to be waiting for a leader.

Someone has to stand up and step to the plate. After someone stand up there will be more people who will stand up.

Even during King's rule everyone was waiting for a leader and Prachanda and Baburam stepped up although for a wrong cause using wrong means.

We need someone to stand up for the right cause.

grgDai,

I agree with what you're saying about needing leadership. But I think that 'waiting for a leader' is more the Nepali problem than the solution. I think the solution is taking whatever good qualities we see in each other and encouraging it gradually.

There are leadership qualities in each of us. Instead of dragging each other down, us Nepalese need to first find the humility to bow down to each other (after all that is what Namaste really means, isn't it?) to whatever leadership qualities we see in other Nepalese. Whatever little leadership qualities we are seeing we need to blow on it and make that coal burn into a flame. And gradually, as we encourage these qualities in each other, a hot fire can grow from this flame.

Just in this thread, look at so many amazing and wonderful ideas are glowing. There is not one leader that I see in this thread and in this discussion. I see so many leaders bringing so many good qualities forward. Now if we just had a culture that encouraged more qualities like this, we would get somewhere solid. But the power of doing that is in all of our hands. That is why we are all leaders. We need to develop a culture that encourages every Nepali to be a leader. That is why Nepal is a great country. Because in our nation, ever Nepali has the potential to be a leader.

A complete baseless article by someone who is clearly in favour of Monarchy.

I am not into party politices or anything but this clearly shows who this writer is favouring. The fabricatied article is an illusion.

By saying this, do not assume that I am supporting anything happening now or that had happened.

We have seen the era of Mr. Parsai. I had seen Mr. Parsai from the day I started knowing people. It is not that I know him and he is not good. It is not I support other political party and I hate him. He seems like a simple guy without any thoughts. He is another politician who is blind with monarchy where monarchy had been already abolished in Nepal.  He is a simple guy with simple knowledge wearing glasses with Monarchy. He is another foolish guy like Kamal Thapa.  Every one now think Kamal Thapa, Dirga Raj Parsai, Sher Bahadur, K.P. Oli or Puspa Kamal and Baburam are similar and bad.  Everyone seems similar, isn’t it? Yes, time, soil, culture, society makes everyone similar. We can’t make anyone distint because society didn’t want to make anyone different. So, Baburam used to be popular in the era of Panchayat and now Dirga Raj Parsai want to be popular without any thought, vision. And the people in Sajha who even don’t have that vision like Dirga Raj seems Dirga Raj hero.

Any way Dirga Raj and Kamal Thapa has too old philosophy where people had already thrown. But people don’t know where to go now. We all are traitors in one way to other, either supporting traitors or not evaluating any good leaders. We think everyone is similar, so the eye to see good and bad are gone now. Dirga Raj thinks someone is traitor and someone other thinks he is traitor, so it is a vicious cycle. The important part is to know how to break this cycle and give something different.

thank you so much Mr. Prasai for such an informative article!! These traitors are taking the law into their  own hands and extend the term as they please over and over and over. They are shameless hoards of sheeps unable to do a single thing right. It is emabarassing to be  a Nepali right now and our political parties are the cause of our shame, poverty, and economic conditions.

Since they can't even make a new consitution, perhaps they should just restore the old one back. That way atleast we will have some stability, code of conduct and ethics..THESE CULPRITS ARE GIVEN AN INTERIM GOVERNMENT AND THEY CAN NOT MAKE THIS INTERIM GOVERNMENT CONTINUE PERMNANENTLY WITHOUT THE PEOPLE'S FRESH MANDATE, ELECTIONS, AND CONSTITUTION.

Disgusting traitors. Thank you and many others who are fighting for millions of Nepalis like us. We need people like you to voice the reality like this. Keep up the good work.
