Subject: RE: A Freak's Suggestion for Nepal, Bhutan & Bangladesh to
Join the Union of India

Dear All

Sorry that I joined this conversation a bit late. I felt obliged to participate in it as I found the subject matter under discussion not only important but also very touchy and sentimental. With all respect to Prof. Leo Rebello (Looks like a fake name representing immature colleague from India), I have found his comments deplorable and not a subject to be discussed in such forums. How come that Mr. Fake Leo ventures to suggest a sovereign country like
Nepal to join any union ? Probably he is not aware of how proud and brave are the Nepalese people? He should know Nepal means "We Nepalese" people including more than hundred thousand Gurkhas serving in the Indian Army who would better sacrifice themselves for their motherland Nepal than loosing their identity as Nepalese. The Political system may change, the leadership may be corrupted and leaning towards the south for power, the country may be under political transition however, when it may come to the matter of identity, all the Nepalese,  will be united and fight for Nepal until the last breadth. The sovereignty - Nepalese identity and culture is so dear and near to all of us.

The lame logic of Chinese invasion in Nepal is simply a matter of ignorance and childish statement. Why China would bother to capture mountains and hills from neighbourly brothers that is already secured by brave
Nepalese people. What advantage for China ! by occupying barren hills at the cost of good neighbourly relationship through ages!  However; the situation might change, if in case there were any foreign design - attempt to destabilizing China through  Nepal and Tibet. My assessment is that if that were to happen, China would certainly use its every available power in its hand including nuclear warheads and influence to deter such threats and help Nepal to maintain status quo.

Anti-Indian sentiment as suggested by the writer !  yes! in some extent he is right unfortunately he should know that it may be due to some obvious reasons like, India trying to show big brotherly relationship with its
neighbors - economic blockade to Nepal earlier, and trying to intervene in their internal affairs from time to time. Greater Nepal ! Yes! I also believe that this matter should not be raised at this point of time, and it may not
happen at least for some unforeseeable future. However, it should not be forgotten that Nepal have lost its prime land to India in the past due to the feeble leadership of those days and it would be great if india as a one of the
biggest democracy in the world would be generous to return Nepalese land including access to the sea, it she genuinely thinks and believes that we - Nepal and India both share the same religion and culture. Involvement of raw and ISI in Nepal- these are part of international power politics - big versus small and weak versus strong! We have weaknesses we must confess, this is happening due to corrupt and weak leadership that is always looking for
umbrella from somewhere for political power  and thereby looting the Nepalese people. So called Democratic congress, Revolutionary leftists and others - all are equally incompetent and majority of Nepalese people are the
victims where people like Mr, fake leo has been ablle to utter words which he should never have been able to venture. "SABAILAI CHETANA BHAYA". My suggestion to the concerned media is to refrain from entertaining such deragotary and blasphemous opinions on line.

Best Regards,

Indra KARKI

Rana Ji:

You think this freak Leo’s view for Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh to join the Union of India is important to discuss?  I am not sure how many people cc’ed in this email are psychiatrist to deal with this insane person.
If he is insane, he needs medical help.  Unfortunately, most people here are not doctors.  I bet this guy is either not an Indian (at least not a self-respecting Indian), or a Congress UPA member.  Every Hindu and visionary Indian cc’ed in this email will feel insulted. Why don’t you cc some friends from Bhutan and Bangladesh as well and see the reaction? Leo is nothing but an instigator of violence in disguise of ‘World Peace Envoy”.  He wants the Hindus to fight for the little piece of land in South Asia.  Sadly for him, gone are the days.  By undermining Hindus’
intelligence, this guy has made a mockery of himself.

BTW, I just heard from an Indian guy on the street that anyone whose name is “Leo” should be expelled from India.  Should I call him a freak, insane or a World Peace Envoy?

Sincerely,
Ashutosh Shrivastav

India uses "China" as its scapegoat and tries to validate its interference in Nepal by defending its unnecessary and unwarranted bullying role in Nepal. Nepalis are well aware of Indian tactics and it’s but just some of the so called leaders of  Nepal that are  afraid to act on it.
By sheltering Nepal's Maoists in India, and calling them terrorists before Nepali government itself did, its obvious India - was planting seeds to disintegrate Nepal - to make it  weaker in the long run.  So that India, not China can take over Nepal as it did Sikkim after overthrowing its Monarchy. Making Nepal secular and abolishing Monarchy fall under India's grand design.

It is high time Nepal becomes aware of India, of its strategy for development of "offensive" politics, rather than defensive and progressive. It is evident by India's  recent and past actions and behaviors that India wants its neighbor to remain unstable, whether it’s Pakistan, Bangladesh or Nepal, so that it is better off than its neighbor and
become a regional hegemony. Instead of focusing on its own endless issues of poverty, religious strife, population control- to name just a few, India tries relentlessly to cause trouble in its neighbouring countries, perhaps that's
because it’s easier to cause destruction than to fix its own problems at home!!

It is indeed sad that such countries that use offensive politics as a means to get a head in world politics are often called leaders in democracy. Nepal has no issues with China-- So India need not to be concerned with China wanting to make Nepal a colony after all Nepal's Maoists are product of India not China. It is a fact. May God bless Nepal and India-hopefully the birth of its own Maoists won't bury
it in the grave it had dug for Nepal.

Indeed, it is a good to have open discussion but it should not be a FORUM to insult weaker. We do not need to join any collation on the stage of Indian mentality and there is no point to worry about China's invading Nepal. Of
course, Nepal and Nepalese make collation if and only, India respects Nepal and Nepalese peoples’ Freedom. NO, no not possible, the way Indian authorities are treating and playing against Nepal.

Let FREEDOM ring, let’s build Trust, let’s make written agreement that India won't interfere Nepal’s internal matter. Mr Leo construct this trust, and bring your proposal.  Otherwise, do not try to give 'Lolly Pop' and remember Nepal and Nepalese are not your Children!

This guy is blamming india for everything and get gyanendra back in chairs...don't even think about it.Nepal will not be ruled by king anymore, Period. One family cannot continue to rule the world and imply laws as they like.  I bet Gyanendra killed his family for same position and will do everything get back that chair. Thats why he is going temples and preaching nepal should be hindu country. One time maoist wanted republic country killed 13000 people and destroyed building, bridges, burned transportation means and now UNN or whatever trying to achieve same things doing that. I know these prick leaders have nothing to loose but citizens of nepal want peace not playground of Gyanendra, Prachanda or Madhesi's War.

What i got from your website (http://www.unnepal.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=53)

UNN insists upon peaceful public deliberations and a referendum on:

  • Hindu nation or Secular state: Hindu Rastra is not about theocracy, but rather represents an acknowledgment of our heritage, roots, and values.
  • Constitutional Monarchy or Republic: Constitutional Monarchy is not about feudalism or the divine right of a King, but rather represents an acknowledgment of the cultural and unifying role of the King in Nepal within a democratic framework. The UNN urges that the Constitution of 1990 be restored, on a provisional basis, until the Nepali people have delivered their own verdict on that document via referendum. The present Constituent Assembly, elected and convened under circumstances of unacceptable Maoist coercion and low-grade terror, should be suspended and its work halted. To ensure a free and fair referendum, the disarmament and confinement of Maoist cadres in designated cantonments shall continue under the supervision of the Nepal Army, and all recruitment into the Maoist "Peoples' Liberation Army" and "Young Communist League" is to be halted at once.

OBJECTIVES

United Nationalist Nepalese (UNN ) was formed:

  • To act as an organizational focus for all individuals, irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or background, who sincerely believe in the restoration of a unitary, independent and democratic nation of Nepal.
  • To speak on behalf of all nationalist Nepalese, both within Nepal and abroad.

Again, Your organisation itself is contradicting. This organisation is run or founded by Gyanendra himself to fool nepali citizens again. The organisations advisor or memebers might be doctors or whatever but they are totally inclined restoring monarchy and blindy following pigs who were ruling nepal as their will.

Gyanendra will be next Osama bin ladein of  Nepal. His rich arse gonna found carbomb which we already found couple in capital and bet he will try anything for that chair.

PEACE thats what we nee in nepal..not a war for monarchy, democracy or republic, we dont focking care what kind of policy or memorandum you have but just let us live in peace, give us infrastructure, electricity, education in our home. Why we have to run from our country, our people? Politicians including you gyanendra will craving to become leaders and we innocent have always been suffering. Why are we even following these pigs?

It has simple answer, perhaps you couldn't notice it because you are out of Nepal (I think
long time). As Ashutosh wrote in his article " Royal massacre  unfolding " it all become as acts of long written drama. They have to annex Nepal for that they have to end Monarchy. Girija being puppet used to tie up  extreme left and extreme right   Please note that the famous Singapore meeting
between Girija and Prachanda was organized by S.D. Muni. It was necessary to made Girija god of Maoist.  Now they are in second act, they started to put some person to plead that Nepal
should accept to marge in Indian Union. Dr. Leo is one actor for that. Due to his foolishness now he will go behind  curtain and another actor will take his role.   This Ameresh fellow has no part remaining form long time now they are loosing hold on Political Parties so again started to put this fellow in scene.
As for fact about Amaresh concern please study his background and please note his wife was deported from Pune Institute. (I suspect she got knowledge what is going on and refuse to be puppet)
Now it is time to be alert of Nationalist. I agree that I also fall in foolish trap by answering Leo's post.  We should not give attention to such person but we should watch their activities, and aware Nepali (not them) about their intention.

Dear Dinesh Sharma Jee
Sunday Secretary to Dr. Leo Rebello

Namaste
Thanks for the article by Dr. Leo Rebello “Common Values from different Religions.” I really do appreciate the sentiment and that is the way to go for humanity. It should have been and it should be. Hoping his good efforts bear fruits for all of us.
However, let me point out a few errors and the crux of the problem. First, Religion is not Dharma. Religions are exclusive (the only true way), and are a set of doctrines and behaviors to be believed and obeyed. Dharmas are about seeking truth (Satya) and spiritual disciplines (Yoga). There are many Dharmas evolved in the Indian sub-continent – Shaiva, Vaishnav, Baudha, Jain, Tantra, Sikh etc. Hinduism is neither a Dharma nor a religion but a collection of all these Dharmas. It is a geographical definition. Thus, to put Christianity (a religion), Buddhism (a Dharma) and Hinduism (a collection of Dharmas including Buddhism) as parallel institutes is not correct. Here in lies the problem in discussions. Because, we will be comparing apples and oranges.
More importantly only religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Communism) creates problem. Do you know any atheist army, humanist army, Buddhist army, Hare Krishna army? Have you heard about atheists forcing or paying to convert to atheism? But we have Moses attacking Canaan, and Crusade and Jehad in the name of God. Therefore ‘preaching peace’ to all – peaceful and non-peaceful groups, as if they stand in the same footing is not acceptable. You need to preach peace to Pope and Bin Laden, not to Dalai Lama. In Nepal, Churches are systematically using power of money, propaganda and education to convert poor and innocent people, regardless of its consequences, breaking our families and social fabrics apart. Matter of fact, people like Pope are worst than Bin Laden.
Here is the crux of the problem. Religions, not Dharma, claim exclusive truth. For them all their co-religionists are brothers and good. And all others are evil and enemies. The only solution is to convert all others by any means. Does total conversion and extermination of others solve the problem? Not really. Evil and terror of religion simply targets its own people and we have – Inquisition.
Any realistic solutions to end violence coming out of religions (specifically Christianity and Islam) must deal first with the doctrines motivating such behaviors given in the referendum below. It is not only about bad ideas, but it combining with militancy and power. A Jew or a Brahman may think himself superior, but it is not a problem till he holds a gun. If it is only a matter of attitude, then it can be solved with education and cross-culture exchanges. In any event, the solution starts with recognizing the evil doctrines and repudiating them clearly.

Let us consider the basic Christian doctrines:
All Christians, no matter how evil, go to heaven. All others, no matter how virtuous, go to hell. A sin can be transferred from one person to another. Can they be true?
Dinesh Sharma Jee, it basically is saying that all your virtuous but non-Christian ancestors have gone to hell. Do you agree?
Do you have any clue why Taliban dynamited Bamiyan Buddha?
Let me attach a few articles for your perusal. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Tilak Shrestha, Ph.D.
