A new Nepali restaurant in Minneapolis is looking for an experienced cook. We believe in creating good, healthy and safe work environment where employees are considered integral parts of our restaurant's success and will have a sense of belonging in the company. We believe in job enrichment and empowerment that our employees will get to experience. Full time Cook


This position is responsible for preparing food items according to the high quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction while sticking to health regulations.



  • Helps in maximizing sales and revenue by maintaining food quality to ensure customer satisfaction that would result in repeat business.
  • Contributes in gaining profitability by following menu specifications for cooking, recipe procedures for preparation, production, and plate presentation. Responsible for good use of all equipment and supplies. Helps to control cost thus reducing expenses and waste.
  • Consistently provides high quality food to customers. Focus in efficiency and timely response to special requests. Works as a team player in meeting customer needs, and actively contributes to the work of front-end staff.
  • Maintains an utmost clean and safe work area in compliance with the company's as well as local, state and federal regulations. Follows the company guidelines and local and state regulations regarding receiving, preparing and storing all foods.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties. Abides by the company attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures.
  • 1+ years cook experience required especially in Indian Cuisine and Tandoor dishes.
  • Ability to push, pulls, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.
