One of the survivors from the fatal wreck occurred at northeast Houston last month, Bennisha Davis shot herself at chest while trying to figure out why her sister and two best frens were killed in the wreck while she survived. Sajan Timalshina, the drunk driver responsible for the crash is also responsible for her suicide. Had Sajan not fled and justice was served, poor girl had possibly not taken her life.
A criminal can get away just because a treaty is not signed? This is so pathetic.
All four souls rest in peace. May god give enough strength to the mother who lost her another teenage daughter before the first's grief would heal.

I just want to know, who gives the gun to 14 year old girl. This country is very pathetic when it comes to selling guns.

The devastation,
which happened in an instant, was powerful — three 13-year-old girls
killed by an alleged drunken driver who later fled the country.

Now the impact of that tragedy has widened with the suicide of a 14-year-old girl who survived the wreck.

Bennisha Davis was
haunted by last month's deaths of her sister and two best friends in
the northeast Houston crash. The 14-year-old Humble girl could not
understand why she had survived while they had not.

The grief was
apparently too much for the Ross Sterling Middle School student to
bear. Davis fatally shot herself in the chest Thursday inside the
family's home in the 15800 block of Marsh Hawk while her mother was at
work.

Her sister,
Detrihanna Davis, and her two best friends, Avianca Cortez and
RaShaunda Raleigh, had died after suffering fatal injuries in the wreck.

"Bennisha took it
real hard when she found out about it," said her grandmother, Diane
Blakes of Houston. "It just did something to her, I guess — and we
weren't really aware. Well, we knew she was hurting, but we didn't know
she was hurting that bad."

Blakes said she
later found a note Bennisha had typed on a computer which stated she
missed her sister and friends and wondered why they had died when she
survived. Her note also lamented that justice might never be served
since the driver who caused the crash had fled the country.

It would have been much better if the fugitive Sajan Timilsina had taken his own life instead of Pukar.

Cities and States are struggling with operational budgets; thanks to the Great Recession. Just like they are doing with cigarettes, go-go-girls-bar poles, soda pops in some cities to make up for the tax-revenue shortfall, they should be taxing the alcoholic beverages similarly so that young (and already reckless) drivers on student budgets would be discouraged from binge-drinking which in turn would mitigate such ill-fated accidents and tragic incidents.
As of now, haven't you noticed at 7-eleven, the price of single beer can/bottle is almost as cheap as a bottled water? Next time you visit the store, which one would you pick when you are retiring home for the day?

Finally snoozy reporters from Nepal reported it..

US lawmaker calls for extradition of hit-and-run suspect from Nepal

A US Democrat in the house judiciary committee has asked the Department
of Justice (DoJ), USA, to "wake up and do something" in the effort to
return a Nepali suspect, Sajan Timalsina, to face charges of killing
three teenagers in Texas.

Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee made the plea
after several unsuccessful attempts to engage the help of the DoJ to
return Timalsina from Nepal as the US does not have an extradition
treaty with Nepal.

"I say to the justice department: Wake up and do something," said Lee in a speech on the house floor.

The US Marshal needs to stop hiding from my office and get over to my office to discuss why you can't do something."

She
demanded diplomatic dialogue to bring the suspect to US. "You are
leaving crying parents with no justice because you let someone go," he
said.

According to police reports, Timalsina, 26, was driving his
car in Lee's hometown of Houston when, police allege, he ran a red light
and broadsided an Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) carrying five teenagers
and two adults, which then hit utility poll on August 7.

Two
13-year-olds and a 17-year-old were immediately ejected from the SUV and
pronounced dead within hours. The other two teens and two adults in the
vehicle survived.

Local police later said that they had enough
evidence to hold Timalsina overnight, but released him that night after
conducting a standard field sobriety test because they didn't think he
would flee and they wanted to get the blood test results back for his
alcohol level before they pressed charges, wrote the online version of
the Hill News.

When, police said, they discovered that his blood
alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit, they went to charge
him with three counts of intoxication manslaughter only to find that he
had left the country.

According to the report, Timalsina was in
the U.S. on a student visa and could face 60 years in prison if
convicted on all three charges. nepalnews.com
