Well here comes someone with another racist comment. I don't understand why people take the macro view when talking about these things. Another one was when it said "Nepali Army ill treats a boy". Were all the Army personal involved in mistreating the boy "well I don't think so". I feel very bad about the incident but majority of the army personal are figthing and giving there lives for the country. In the same was just because some brahmins are sitting in powerful positions and are looting the country doesn't mean that all the brahmins are looting the country. They are thousands of brahmins who are below poverty line in Nepal. I am sure no one would ever bring that up. Please no offence to anyone including the person who created this thread, but lets be specific. Many countries are facing problems due to mass attack. The biggest example being India. So please be more specific, and bring out personal names of who you think of people who have looted Nepal.

Sorry for the typo: Instead of reading "In the same was" please read it as "In the same way".
By the way if it was a question "has nepali brahmin family looted Nepal" than no, not all brahmin families have looted Nepal. There are a lot of Brahmin families who have been victims and I guess larger in number than the ones who have looted.

Tell me what you have done to improve the lot of Nepalese people.
It is easy to blame a particular community for all the fiasco and sleep in the comfort yourself thinking that you are a saint.
I know things are not fair in our society- particularly the ' untouchable scenario'.Only education and awareness can solve it. I know some people have exploited the situation for their personal benefits.
There are good and bad people in every sector.
If you want to improve things, don't engage in a racial war.Think of what you can do and do it

History of Nepali Congress told Nepalese people:

Dr. K. I. Singh and Ram Prasad Rai (Leader of Jan Mukti Morcha) affiliated with Nepali Congress, were fighting against cruel Rana Regime. But B. P. Koirala and Girija Koirala with their whole family spending lavish life in India. Just before two days of final battle of revolution in kathmandu, B. P. Koirala called off arms struggle and negotiated with Rana Regime. Then after, Nepal becomes name of democracy but same Rana families and relatives become top senior ministers. B. P. Koirala and Girija Koirala betrayed to Revolutionaries, revolutionaries could not complete their mission and objectives. Therefore, Democracy of Nepal failed from the beginning.

These Koirala families may sell Nepal to India if Nepal could have been sellable. There is no doubt.

Corruption is not new in the history of human civilization.

In Nepal corruption rules! Who ever gets the power, gets corrupted. It is not just one person or one race, it is every one. Stop race bashing and start criticizing the corrupts and not the race they belong to. It is nothing but racism.

The only way to tackle badmouthing can be learnt from the following story.

A Brahmin Story

Author: Unknown

Lord Buddha was sitting under a banyan tree. One day, a furious Brahmin came to him and started abusing him.

The Brahmin thought that Buddha would reciprocate in the same manner, but to his utter surprise, there was not the slightest change in the expression on his face.

Now, the Brahmin became more furious. He hurled more and more abuses at Buddha. However, Buddha was completely unmoved. Actually there was a look of compassion on his face.

Ultimately the Brahmin was tired of abusing him. He asked, "I have been abusing you like anything, but why are you not angry at all ?"

Lord Buddha calmly replied, "My dear brother, I have not accepted a single abuse from you."

"But you heard all of them, didn't you?" The Brahmin argued half-heartedly.

Buddha said, "I do not need the abuses, so why should I even hear them?"

Now the Brahmin was even more puzzled. He could not understand the calm reply from Buddha.

Looking at his disturbed face, Buddha further explained, "All those abuses remain with you."

"It cannot be possible. I have hurled all of them at you," the Brahmin persisted.

Buddha calmly repeated his reply, "But I have not accepted even a single abuse from you ! Dear brother, suppose you give some coins to somebody, and if he does not accept them, with whom will those coins remain?"

The Brahmin replied, "If I have given the coins and not needed by someone, then naturally they would remain with me."

With a meaningful smile on his face, Buddha said, "Now you are right. The same has happened with your abuses. You came here and hurled abuses at me, but I have not accepted a single abuse from you. Hence, all those abuses remain with you only. So there is no reason to be angry with you."

The Brahmin remained speechless. He was ashamed of his behavior and begged for Buddha's forgiveness.

Inner calmness and peace are keys to contented life.

Seriousely, I am not sure why the Brahmin was furious with Buddha at that time
