I have 1TB Seagate external hard drive, which i used use on my previous windows laptop. now i am using MAC book. My HDD is in NTFS format and that is not compatible with MAC. i want to format the HDrive and use on my mac to backup my data and documents. Would anyone help me to do this one would be highly appreciate.

Try to use friends computer with windows operating system
Format your hard drive and change it's file system from NTFS to a file system that is compatible with mac operating system, may be like Fat32.
