Nepal Police detains Ex-Prince Paras Shah, details awaited

The expected has happened.



Fresh reports have it that finally Kaski, Pokhara Police
officials have detained today late afternoon, December 14, 2010, Nepal’s former
Crown Prince Paras Shah, for what the police says he made an “attempt to
murder” when he have had a tough chit chat with one Bangladeshi and an Indian
national at the Tiger Tops resort hotel in Chitwan district, some two hundred
kilometers south of Kathmandu.



The incident took place last Saturday, December 11, 2010.



Paras Shah has admitted already through a press statement that
he made a blank fire when it had been too much of insult to him, his country
and the institution he represented some years ago by the two foreign nationals during the "alcohol" hours.



It was a blank fire.



The Bangladeshi national, Rubel Chaudhary, is the son- in-
law of incumbent Nepal Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala. He is associated with
Sujata’s Sushma Koirala Trust.



Mr. Chaudhary has been living in Nepal since four years or
so.



Police sources claim that Paras Shah will be lifted to the
exact spot in Chitwan from where the brawl started in order to get more
authentic information regarding the sad incident.



Paras Shah was detained in Pokhara where he was staying at
the Fulwari Resort Hotel.



Further details from the Nepal Police are awaited.













Telegraph Nepal .com adds: The caretaker Home Minister, Bhim Rawal, claims that
Paras Shah has already been arrested by the Nepal Police officials and is being interrogated.
