Hi, I need a place to stay from Tue Night to Fri morning somewhere around Springfield, VA. Need a bed or sofa in a QUIET and SAFE place. Need parking for one tiny car, wireless Internet. Will pay reasonable amoung/night, up to $30 depending on the place. I need the place to sleep only; will be away for work during the day (unless it snows badly and I am stuck). Yahoo travel, search for hotels, select date range, place. Look for secret deals. It is brining up as cheap as $40 per night in that area from today to thursday. If it is next week that would be much lesser. Also, free coffee, own room, privacy, cheap breakfast, etc.
If it is friends it would be easy living with friends. But I don't know if it is good idea for someone to ask or to let stay a stranger from sajha. So may be, if you don't get any this would help.
Also if you have more than 100s of friends in facebook, someone would be there from virginia. But, asking in Sajha.... hmmm.... don't make yourself cheap..yes..even if you pay. Just my 2 cents brother.

Khaire, I save may be $10 per day, at the cost of some added hassles. Somebody (may be a student) makes a little money.

There is a potential risk to both sides? Ok a little. I still tend to think Nepali community in the US is...not exactly close-knit...but there still is a sense of camaraderie. And that my post in Sajha is much safer/sensible than a similar post on, say Craigslist.  We all have different perspectives, tendencies.

I am in Richmond, VA, If you can drive from then let me know. I don't offer a luxury place, but I have a roof for you to stay for that period of time, and of course it is a lot better to stay with Nepali man with family than other places. thanks.
