I am looking for the cheap roundtrip ticket from AUS-US.

Any one knows which is the reliable and cheapest air flight online?

If anyone had any experience, sharing some experience would be freaking awesome.


The flight is supposed to be from MELBOURNE-CHICAGO.


Any help would be highly appreciated.

 I heard V australia is good but i m flying to USA soon on DELTA Airlines (internation & Domestic ) both I choose Delta based on the price lot more cheaper then any other airlines.

I guess they all similar..  I flew with Quite a different airlines but I prefer to fly Arab Emirates or Etihad ..but its not always possible.

So depends i guess..

@CrazyNep: While all the sajhaites are busy commenting on Gay thread ;-), i appreciate for your prompt reply. Can you tell me how much did u pay for the ticket from Delta Airlines?

When i looked at their website, it gives the list price more than $2500.

Also, can you also tell me the website that i can get for Arab and Etihad Airlines?

I first tried with few nepalese travel agents in Sydney found out lil expensive. then I went to STA travel found a good deal but i finally bought a ticket from Flight Centre. No matter where u find cheaper you ..flight centre will beat the price wether it is online or from other agent

My ticket is AUS $ 2100 that' includes syd - La-  la- vegas vegas - NY , n NY -San Fransico San Fransico - Syd

As far as i know price should be same from melb/syd..

best way is goto Student Travel if you are under 26 or full time student else try flight centre or STA  or Escape compare price n goto flight centre and they will beat the price.

i can give u a number of a guy in sydney its kathmandu travel..you can get some itinerary from one of those agents n he always try to beat that price by atleast $100..in my case it was complicated coz i wanted domestic flight ..n actual time of the day ..so he couldnt' do it.

@Crazy Nep: Thanks a lot bud for your suggestions.  I called that Nepalese travel agent from the no. you gave it to me. and he quoted me for sth like $1800. I think it's kinda expensive as the travel is only via Melbourne to Chicago.

In addition to that, haven't gotten the visa yet. How hard is to get B2 visa from AUS to U.S for the full time student? The visit is only for three weeks btw.

If you could share those information, i would really appreciate it.

sirius_me..he still offered you cheaper then ur previous quote of $2500 but if you shop around you might get mo cheaper..try student travel. n ask this same nepalese dude to  beat it..good luck

I already had a visa ..but u could either visit USA consulate in Melbourne..
