As the topic says, is there any limitation in the number of I-20 forms a F-1 student can have?
I have 3 so far.
- Firs one - when I got admitted to university
- second - when I went home last summer
- Third - got CPT approved I-20 yesterday because I'm doing an internship this summer
I'm planning to go home next year's summer, that'll make the number 4.
i still have 2 more years at school. Is having many I-20s bad?
Thanks!

Why would one need a new I-20 to go home? All you need is the signature of the Int'l advisor. I have been to home twice and did not need a new I-20 on either ocassion. And as far as I know, there are no limits on number of I-20s. I have about 6.

@jacksparrow
They gave me a new one when I went home maybe because I changed my major shortly after I started college.
Thanks a lot for taking time to answer.

Drkancho,
Thats probably why they gave you a new I-20. I had not changed my major.
