i can't suggest you about the PCAT thing, but what I can say is choose better schools rather than easier ones. pharmacy is a competitive program, has lot of money in it, and it's not going to be "easy" to get in whatsoever.

if you have low GPA, no or very less research background, and not so strong resume but still planning to take PCAT sometime in August and applying this year, chance of getting in is really low, it'd be unusual if you get in. i personally think it'll be a waste of money and brain cells. but if you have a good GPA, solid research background and bunch of other things adding weight to your resume, go ahead - rock the PCAT and apply.
