I have H1B visa. My multiple entry visa was stamped when I was still a student is still valid.

When I return to USA from Nepal, do I need to go to the embassy to stamp a visa ?

A authoritative response is highly appreciated.

Yes, you need to get a new h1b visa from the consulate to enter the US. Your f1 visa is no longer valid since there is a change of status from f1 to h1.

You don't have H1B visa, you have H1B status. You still have F1 visa which is no longer valid since you are in H1B. So gotta go to embassy to get the visa or u will be returning back home from POE.
