I had filed for an OPT (form I-765) and received a receipt after a week. the notice give me information on how to check my status. I had filed my opt on april 15 and it's already been 2 months now, but when i go to www.uscis.gov to check my case status, it still shows my application is under initial review....Do any of you guys had to wait for such a long time....can anyone tell their experience? how sooner or later they received their OPT from the date of filing....I already have a job but m' unable to fill up the paperwork due to this delay. Help ! sugeestions n experiences are WELCOME !

 Usually it takes 60 to 90 days to process the OPT application. It also depends on which service center your application was filed. You should not be worried about it. Wait for couple of more weeks and you will get it. Good Luck !

After 45 days of the receipt date, you can call them and let them know abou it .They will raise your case. Don't wait, sometimes it takes longer than 90 days if you dont call them. My application was received by USCIIS on 22 of november and I called them at the end of february ( waited  90 days ) and got my opt on middle of march.
