 Number of Nepali in America

The official number of Nepali living in America came from US Census 2010 and it is close to 52,000 with New York having the most.

That number is very doubtful. A more likely number is

288,888

- Most people without visas would not fill out that census
- Maybe 30% of legal folks fill it

If 30% of legal nepalis = 52,000 then total legal nepalis in US = 173333

Illegal Nepalis:

In a Nepal party, if you look around about 40% don't have papers. so 60% of total = 173333
So by simple math, the total number of Nepalis in US ~ 288,888
