druggist, that's not a google redirect virus..
it's some other redirect trojans..
first,
- safe mode with networking..
- make sure your DNS is not pointing somewhere else
- check your browser's internet settings and proxy settings.. make sure it's not pointing to some weird number.. just disable them.
- type appwiz.cpl in run and get rid of all toolbar, one by one
- type msconfig in run and make sure you disable non-microsoft services, there should be lot of fishy services out there.. just disable it
- Now, here comes my hero, download 'malwarebytes antimalware' and let it do the rest of the job, make sure to run full scan.
save yourself $150.
cause this is what I charge to ppl here per laptop/desktop fix which I managed to do in 2 hours.
