well economic blcokade may not be that serious because
1. Nepal is opening many roads from north
2. Karnali and limbubawan will still be connected to India, new supply rout may open from these areas
3. Middle hilly highway is under construction. this highway will help keep the supply route open.
On the other hand,
1. Hilly area may stop electricity to plain area, they will be in trouble.
2 . Hilly area may may use water as a bargan.
3. economy of terai is agriculture based so if they create trouble we will start importing from somewhere else . Farmers in terai will suffer because they have to sell their stuff to india
Main problem I see is dividing country like this will achieve nothing special for its people.
People are expecting, once different states are established, their life will be easier. Leaders are mainly concerned with language and culture, language and culture cant create job, and oppertunity. It might. create bordfer problem, natural resources problem etc. Many corrption centers will operate simultanously. This type of situation might lead to another chaos in 10 years time.
solution to this is republic based on geographical division, like 14 states from present 14 Anchals or % states from present 5 developmental zones.
Creation of new states/new borders involved lots of administrative work, So once we established the republic another 5 years will be spent on border isuues and issues related to language and natural resources etc.
