RUP NARAYAN DHAKAL
POKHARA: An aircraft of Nepal Airlines bound for Pokhara met with a minor accident after it skidded off the runway while taking off at Jomsom Airport in Mustang district on Friday morning.
“An aircraft of Nepal Airlines bound for Pokhara skidded off the runway and got its wheels stuck in the drain while taking off at Jomsom Airport today moring. The aircraft has been pulled over with the help of Nepali Army and Nepal Police personnel. The normal flight has resumed,” said Chief District Officer Laxmi Raj Sharma of Mustang district.
All the passengers including the crew members are safe. The number of passengers on board is yet to be ascertained. The aircraft did not sustain any damages.
