Mohan Baidya says foreign aid is ‘no good’ for the nation

Chairman of the CPN-Maoist, Mohan Baidya, has said foreign aid would only increase ‘foreign dependency’ and do no good to the nation.

Speaking at the national convention of the National Industry and Trade Organisation on Saturday, Baidya said foreign aid should only be accepted when the nation truly needs it. He further said his party was also against foreign capital as well as foreign investment as they can be detrimental to national interest.

If foreign investment is brought in ignoring national interest, it would not help in achieving progress and prosperity but would rather be a hindrance to development and increase foreign dependency.

Baidya also stressed on the need to encourage domestic investment and investors to build an independent economy devoid of foreign influence.Nepalnews.com

After coming to power the first thing they did was a trip to India and USA and beg for aid.

When asked to BabuRam that he had declared USA and India as their enemy but immediately after coming to power why he worked on maintaining relations with India and USA he replied "Aba kursi ma basda ra bahira huda kaha ustai hunchha ra". This shameless creature shows no regrets whatsoever he did or said when in hiding and takes no responsibilities for whatever he said. These were the blatant lies told the people of Nepal and no one has ever raised a finger at them.

Somebody should create a facebook page titled: Lies of Maoists and share to the people of Nepal .
