KATHMANDU, July 16:Rajani Thapa, the winner of second edition of Mrs Nepal, is going to represent Nepal in global event of Mrs Universe-2014 scheduled to be held in Malaysia this year.  According to Eplanet Nepal, the event organizer of Mrs Nepal beauty contest, Thapa would leave for Malaysia on August 20.  Santosh Sapkota, the president of the Epalnet Nepal, informed that Mrs Universe, the global beauty pageant organized annually for married women, will be held in Kuala Lumpur-based Sun Bay Resort on August 29. The contestants from 63 counties around the world would be vying for the Mrs Universe crown in Malaysia, the Eplanet statement informed.  28-year old Thapa, who also represented Nepal in Mrs Globe 2013 held in China last year, had bagged “Mrs Philanthropy” award, the statement further informed.  Eplanet further informed that this is the second participation from Nepal in the Mrs Universe beauty contest.  Mina Ghimire,44, the first winner of the Mrs Nepal, was able to each top 10 stage and had won Miss Intelligence title in the Mrs Universe 2013.
