I am new to Bay Area and I am a student (working towards my masters) and trying to find a job in Bay Area. I can commute almost everywhere throughout the bay area from Berkeley. Could you please reply if you know or have any job of any kind (restaurant jobs to pizza delivery to tutoring anything to teaching any programming language/database/server/operating system/html/css/js to car wash to anything)?

Do you drive? Go to Piedmont avenue in Oakland/Berkeley. It's a posh area. You'll have greater luck in finding part time jobs there.

Berkeley's infiltrated with way too many Nepalese working menial/part time jobs. There's an abundance of people with work permits/green cards/citizenship working in/around Berkeley.

Craigslist can be quite resourceful, too.

Thanks sherlock(!),
You said go to piedmont ave, what did you mean? Just hang around there and go to places asking for "Do you have job opening?" ? Sorry if I misunderstood.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. You're more than likely to come across "Help Wanted" posts in that area. It's an uber cool spot to hangout, too.

Try Craigslist. You can find all sorts of jobs via it.
