Hi! Sajhas,
Just want to share some info. I have been working on TPS EAD along with going to college as a full time. As per DSO, I applied for OPT EAD after graduation(May 2016). And Yesterday, got my OPT EAD.
EAD CARD valid period details -
TPS EAD till 12/24/2016
OPT EAD valid 12/25/2016 - 7/28/2017

So based on the above date, it looks like F1 with TPS EAD who are thinking about to apply for OPT EAD depends on the TPS EAD card.

Yes. One can have only one EAD at a time as they track your EAD based on the Alien number. Check A- number in both of your EAD (TPS and OPT), it should be same.
One of the benefits of using OPT Card is tax exemption. Certain tax you do not need to pay. suggest you to research based on this and notify your employer to amend in your payroll. You save some money.
