i was watching this documentary of first lady on PBS, so i figure i could start a thread in sajha, and hear opinions from Nepali Women...

Two First lady, one calm and another chairman of such a big foundation. Terresa Heiz kerry, who speaks 5 languages and has established herself, is very strong opinionated women, she even dares to SHOVE IT!, whereas Laura Bush, quiet never see her in a foreground, but known as a traditional first lady..who would you consider to Rule the WHite house..??Should a first lady be allowed to work a private job? Should be first lady active? When Hillary was first lady, she was criticized for her role, as a first lady, but the work he has done has certainly made a big difference around the globe..

and one more question, Do you think America is ready for a lady president? If so, how will the first gentleman influence the lady and what will be his stand? how do you want the first Gentleman to present himself?

yeh he used to be student of Homesglen institute of tafe ( australia). May be now, here is in University of new south whales. He only knows who is John howard and he played ,big role to re elect him. I think its time for a lady to rule the country. I don't see it happening but I would definitely want Hliary Clinton to rule the nation. She is a crafty woman, certainly knows her way. Teresa in my opinion would be muchos better than Laura.

and also i dint really say anywhere that i have seen your posts as such.but is it not true that you hold that "opinion"? i see you inputting your yes in everything that sweetpie has to say and we all know what her opinion is.so if you put yuor yes in her opinion then what i say is not wrong.mighti wont get your wrtings of sweetpies hardcoreness but a yes in her opinion and virtaully all the time is a good enough reason to believ that you both have the same wavelenght on the view of both america and nepal

She is has tha Charisma that no one has and in addition she have her hubby Mr.Clinton who knows how to present himself to public. He will Groom her pretty damm good, Well we can say that about him too cuz Behind everymans' success their is a women hoina ta.
You go Lady Croft, we need women like you. Eventhough i cannot vote for you but i will be campaigning for you. I will even donate some $$$$ so that u can overcome with campaigning finances. Have to check whether their is some kinda Campaign financing laws.
BTW this is for Mr. Mahakaal. Dear bro u are on denial. There is castism, racism, calssism, and woman domination in nepal, whether u accept it or not. Why Baburam Bhattarai have been able to recruit this so yound Nepali chaps to his so called red army? Cuz of all this still present in nepali society. U are among those ppl who are on denial and let a small matter turn into big hole and later lambast others just like GP Koirala.

BTW i wanna ask ya how many Zones' and Distirct u have travelled in Nepal? Just ktm is not Nepal dude. I have Backpack and travelled all over nepal for a year and thats how i came to this conclusion we are definitely making progress but still not even in halfway we have lot to do in this field.

backpacker huh you probably went for tour and stuff but i come from remote places as such and i know it very well that ktm is not nepal.and also i may not have tralled the whole 75 districts but i have been to quite a few places other thatn ktm valey as well.why has baburam been able to recruit ????the thing you stated is one of the reasons and not only the reason.
and i do put my view on this posting site becasue i dont agree with some of your american colleagues for whom every nepali ,especially, nepali man is an ass hole.and also i see people talking about america yesto and nepal chai usto.now thats why i rasied a question why is there no any women president in the states or a black man............
if america is so so forward then us.or does it imply that there has been no any capable women or a black man to be able to lead the country which i dont think is true....
