When Eric Cantona braced the premiership in early 90s, Manchester United stormed to many a victories and premiership titles ending a 25 year drought. Surprising many critics of the game, he puncuated the midfield in a fashion unknown to many. He had the imagination and desire for the game and his skills were mouthwatering to say the least.

During the past years, Dutch internationals in the likes of Marco Van Basten, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Dennis Bergkamp, have entertained the world with their skills and their ability to nick the winners at a crucial time. Nothing's changed, and the Dutch keep producing young talents that one day have gone on to become the best in the world.

On the rising young talents to enter the premiership, one 20 year old kid stands tall beyond others, and is talked by managers and coaches all around the world, is Chelsea's Arjen Robben. The debut of this tricky Dutchman immediately became a nightmare of defenders around the premiership, first up Blackburn(4-0) and many more teams to come with scores like that. He has become Chelsea's latest sesation and could potentially become one of their best ever.

Chelsea started the premiership rather uncovincingly, with five 1-0 wins and couple of draws, but still let their blue flag flying on the top of the premiership. Robben was delayed with ankle injury, but everyone awaited for the inevitible to happen and so it did in a fashion that turned a frugal bunch of players into great entertainers of the game. Paired with Duff, as the lone striker, this 20 million dollar signing from PSV Eindhoven has added a complete new dimension providing effective and great cutting runs, and superb display of individual brilliance with forceful runs and his vision and ability to finish up moves.

Awarded November's player of the Month, he has quickly grown on to become Chelsea's center man with much of the strategies of the Coach, relying on his success. I gotta tell you, if there is any mature 20 year old in world football today, you bet I wanna see him. And as I end here today, this impressive Dutch winger will one day become as good as Holland's Johan Cryuff, as a great football lover and a great premiership fan, eventhough frankly Chelsea is not my favorite team, I am Spurish rather, this guy will become one of the greatest footballer to brace the premiership. Eventhough its too early to tell, he's got the talent and potential, he ust has to believe on it and he will go on the top.

Haven't really followed premierleague or any other leagues as you seem to have, but got to see Arsenal play against Chelsea (taped) on fox sports world last night. What a game? And your guy, Robben, showed some great moves and almost scored a goal bringing the ball all the way from the middle of the field and weaving through Arsenal's good defenders....

(If you can get fox sports world, they are showing the game again tonight at 8:00 P.M. Eastern time. Great game! Just a reminder, don's miss the very beginning of both halves).

true SSNY...the goal by Henry a minute after the game started was stunning. Arsenal looked strong and created a lot of chances. However, I firmly believe Chelsea have an upper hand now over teams like Arsenal, Man Utd and Everton now and won't be surprised if they retain their lead till the end of the season.

Peace
