listen now to what i have to say
a story from me to you today
that tells the tale of a broken man
a man that never will take a hand
to help him through his hardest day
or show him there's an easier way


it starts like this, in a happier time
when things were simple and love was fine
a man stood broad and strong as an ox
and a beautiful woman who was shy as a fox
the two had made a life as one
together forever and all that fun
they promised each all things good
and said they'd do what they could
to keep the vows and make it work
how could he know that she was hurt
as time went by and things got worse
her illness took the brunt of course
and he had tried every doctor he saw
every surgeon and miracle he could call
but to no avail his work was in vain
he knew that she would leave him in pain
and as he watched his wife slip away
he found not a single word to say
he cried inside with all he had
she left him now and this was sad
his life no more was promised to one
his other half was gone from him
so now i say the end is very near
i hope he finds her and ends his fear
of being alone and left with none
being only half of ......one.

But, perhaps the beauty of the poen lies in the chasteness. Often, we go for fancy words, when a simple one would suffice. My idea, is to restrain from using fancy words when a simple one can do the job adequately. But sometimes, one beautiful word can express what a sentence won't.

ahha, trust me indi bro... there are alot of things you could use from "Gurly girl"'s poem... just gotta know when to use it;). i mean, ofcourse, you are gonna have to make some changes.. but she puts out some real good thoughts out there, and all you gotta do it modify it and play it out... ahah, and if i were to modify them and let you know, then you might use it... and i cant let that happen.. coz you gotta sound original.. and you know how girls are... they been telling all their friend's if a guys says something good... and that is just gonna mess everything......
