Here is a scenario. On Jan 26th, King of Bhutan becomes the chief guest of the Indian Republic Day. How can the largest democracy in the world enjoy the pleasure of an absolute monarch to be the chief guest in its republic day?

This dates back to 1972 after Sikkim was the victim of Indian Expansionism. Actually the plan was outlined in 1947 in its innaugural independence, which was to take over all the neighboring states, with its weird and very powerful RAW program. Indians failed in 1971 to expand in East Pakistan when Mujibur Rehman declined Indian expansion and created its own independent Bangladesh.

Anyways, right after the republic day, the Bhutanese monarch declined to take responsibilitiies of all those refugees in Nepal, and he even said (immaturely) that they are not the citizens of Bhutan, which of course he wouldn't have said unless he got a huge back-up from India. On the other hand (whether aware of such precedence of incidents of the past), King Gyanendra closed all tibetan institutions and illegalised tibetan settling within the boundaries of Nepal, declaring one China nation. Then immediately takes over the executive control of Nepal, even suspending communication and transportation (at least from Kathmandu), and house arrenting all leaders, which would deny the entry/departure of any political leaders to seek asylum or help from the Indian governemnt or elsewhere. Perhaps an attempt to avoid their escape and bring about another revolution. King Mahendra executed similar powers in 2017 BS. This is where the play comes in. Like father like son, both wouldn't have done this without the Chinese back-up, because Indian govt does not like this.

Another case, the treaty of 1950 and the treaty of 1960 (the year of Panchayat formation). These treaty clearly outlines many economic and develpemental policies between India and Nepal, including the systematic use of water resources. All these years we (the citizens of Nepal) have been fooled by both to make us believe that the treaty was solely about borders and water. However, what we do not know is the key phrase(s) referred in the book, which was sighned by King Mahendra and Pandit Nehru jee. If the monarchy is in question for the leadership of Nepal, then the Indian govt shall send their Army to control the Nepalese territory for peace and order (hear say). Whether to believe this fact or not, it certainly raises the questions if it is true.

Now, in such turmoil when the King has created animosity with the Indian govt, the bhutanese govt and political leaders of Nepal, how is he going to travel to Bangladesh for the SAARC summit. If he were to (still) respect the constitution of 2047, then he will appoint crown prince Paras the head of the nation (interim, however with all executive powers that King is excersing). He would even have the power to throw the King from the throne and declare himself King. All he needs is the support of his generals. Now there are 3 out of 18 generals under his command, and it is not difficult for him to convince the generals of the Palace to join him. It is a much possibility in the Palace for something like this to happen. if we were to believe that King Dipendra shot his family including his monarchial father, Prince Paras can very well perform this act.

Believe of not friends, people in nepal nowadays don't have anything to do. They go to riots for fun (seems like, as we have seen many riots in the past days). The Maoists are looking for opportunities to take control (and they have a strong 20,000 armed forces in their won disposal). Many people will die, as life is living dead in Nepal especially among young people. Chaos and Violence will follow eventually with civil war. King Gyanendra would have no option but to enter Nepal with some kind of force - Indian Army. Just a speculation all these are - Indian Army can easily beat Nepalese Army. They will never leave Nepalese territory and we would just become yet another Sikkim. I have always thought, that Bhutan would be the victim of Indian expansionism before Nepal would, but the dice has turned over to Nepal. There won't be a long time enough before we are forced to become Indian citizens.

I think it's about time for us to think about such cases and find solutions. We are the only solutions - Nepalese living abroad. We have the idea, we are the cream of the nation, and we can find solutions.

Now is the time when we must analyze what happened and stop making negative comments and critics. Let us only vision a beautiful country. Let everyone know how you want to see Nepal as. If you have a problem with certain aspect of the country, let us find the solution rather than just saying ?it?s not going to be solved?. You are the answer and solution. Two heads are better than one and hundreds are much better than two. You are the creams of the country in abroad, and you are educated and intelligent. You have heard it, seen it, experienced it and realized it. We all know sadness and misery coming out of Nepal. I challenge you that once we all get together we will find Bikash in Nepal.

I still want to sing "Sree man gambhir" as my national anthem. I still want to live a Nepali. Leaders of Nepal (in and out of Nepal, past present and future), please sell your greed and jealousy not your honesty and nationlism. Just quote me a price and I will buy all your greed, selfishness, lust and jealousy. Give me my Nepal back as it is supposed to be.

Folks: You may reach me at, sujanks@gmail.com. Please write "Nepal" in the subject, so that it filters right into my Nepal box. If i receive enough comments, i will dedicate a web site under my expenses to collect such information.
