Hundreds show up for first day of protests

KATHMANDU, May 22 - The first day of protests by the newly formed seven-party alliance saw hundreds of protestors take to the streets in Kathmandu Sunday afternoon.

I hope this peaceful protest will be the beginning of the end of autocratic rule of Gyananedra. While there are some people who are really concerned about the present condidion of the mother land, most of them are chammas blindly supporing him no matter what he does to take the country to the stone age. Those chammchas supoort him because they are benifitting from current situation.
