I think this is the best time to watch movies on the theater... so many movies, so many choices. eh... Kingkong is astonishing, 3 hours of rollercoaster ride -- pure blockbuster. :D

When you have to bear KONGKING, why watch KINGKONG? Here goes the explanation from sebsonline.org:

I clearly don't see anyreason to keep monarch full of people like Paras and Gyane in power to rule Nepal. Anyother senseless person would equally be logical to be there. This another person would free country from all the royal expenses that we have. Common people there is no sense in paying Gyane and Paras to rule the country and beat the police chief.

I will when, Ladyinred, as soon as it comes out in DVD. Watched The Island the other day. It was so so, although the premise of brave new world was intriguing.

Thugged, ya!! Watched it and loved it... a day before I watched the new KingKong, I watched the old 1933 classic KingKong, ahah!!! Damn, technology has really changed. :D Narnia is a timepass... good for family, good for Kids I guess... :D

Actually, if you liked "Traffic", and if you like kinda political thriller type of movie, Syrianna is really good. Like someone said somewhere, nobody understands oil business in a depth re... ah... so obviously, we get confused in the movie, eh... but in a whole it makes pretty good sense and leaves a pretty good impact. :D

Missed Capote and Goodbye and Goodluck America eh... tyo pani budhi sangai basera hernu parla. :D:D

Oh, Island was timepass... Michael Bay Movie, ha, action ta hot thyo ni, the one chase sequence. eh.

Anybody seen Memoirs of Geisha yet? I guess it's already out in limited release and will have wide release on 23rd. I read the book, mighty interesting, but I wonder how the movie will be. One thing I don't understand is how come the main female characters (geishas) are NOT Japanese.

I am going to watch King Kong tomorrow. I have seen the snippets of the old 1933 film and some parts of its corny 1950's ko sibling. From what I hear, this one is tyo duitai ko bau. Its XBOX game is not too bad either.

I like watching movies at home when the DVD comes out. I have invested some money in the surround sound home theater, so I force myself to believe that it is better in DVD, hehehehehehe. Plus you get to watch the extras, hoina ta?

Oh yeah, The Exorcism of Emily Rose is coming out in DVD next week. I am going to watch that, but not sure if I can be alone at home next few nights.

Other DVDs I am looking forward to are: Serenity, Brothers Grimm, 2046, Wedding Crashers, The Constant Gardener, Transporter 2, Lord of War, Two for the money all of which are coming out within next two months.

Welll, I don't think it will knock Titanic off the chart.. :D Titanic had wide range of audiences. :D But I think It will surely land somewhere in a mid top10 list. :D Only about 10 million on a opening day? ahh.. that is less than "catch me if you can"? eh.. it has long way to go... But it's just a mid December. :D

Chatmandude, I heard Memoirs suck. ehe... 1930's and 50's ko Kong ko bau? They look ancient, prehistoric compared to new Kingkong... Even Jurassic Park looks like granduncle. And there are some creepy creatures too, ah. Just look at a Kong as a man, hmm, a warrior, strong and full of pride who falls for a girl.

The Constant gardener is very good... If you like that, you will like "Syrianna" too. Transporter ko ta action ho, baki ta timepass. :D The one with the firehose is brilliant. Aru ta, Rajnikant ko movie jasto.. eh!!! They Should make Hindi Version of transporter with Rajnikant in a lead. :D Flyin' the car upside down to disable the bomb. ha!!

Watched King Kong yesterday. Special effects are mind blowing. The action sequence in the island was amazing. But the story was... so so, well I sort of knew that when going in.

I kept thinking how come Naomi Watts is not sufferring from massive whip-lash being jerked around so much by the Kong. Furthermore, in the wintry New York, why is she perfectly warm in that thin dress.

Well, it is a popcorn popper, but it ain't no Lord of the Rings and I don't think it will surpass Titanic.
