Do you think there should be a edit function for editing postings by members ?

Yes there should be an edit function...ani how about including a preview option as well...Will be helpful in cutting down the typos....Just a thought!!!

With reference to main topic:

I do not think setting an "edit option" is a good option and if we want to have an option, perhaps recommending "preview option" before we click on "post option" is a good option to have.

Okay, that was my stab at assimilating as many "option" as I could such that I would write a sentence full of options knowing that someday or for that matter in sometime when I read it, I might find it one of the many stupid act I performed in here. It might not be the wisest piece of literature and I might not have hit the nail on its head or have been succulent enough to make my point more appealing, but let me make it ANYWAYS.

The point is editing option TAKES AWAY the SPONTANITY FACTOR in our post, which IMO, is the MOST IMPORTANT factor that makes the post interesting, controversial, offensive, stupid, brilliant, informative, total BS, friendly and more. This is what Sajha is, and while one can always modify the body of it, one shall not be foolish enough to play with its soul, for soul makes what it/we really is/are.

P.S: If anyone needs an editing option, it should be me. MANY times I have found numerous typos which basically piss me off as my brain would be processing one thing and my fingers just can not keep up with it, hence the outcome is at times: YUCK!

But hey, perhaps that makes it even more human.

Lol Indi, If you have that many typos I would be embarassed to count mine...When I happen to read mine after posting I find numerous typos...There might arise a querry about revewing what I write...Ma alchi chu kya.. and I don't find pleasure going back to find what I've written. Spontaneity I prefer!!!:)

So flipflop dear, for the sake of spontaneity, for me, myself and Irene and thyself, for everything good under the sun, ahem, sajha, shall we agree to agree that editing option is is an option which seems would perhaps galvanize the sajha trash bag?
