Dear Friends: We are H4 of our parents but students (international students not converted to F1) completed high schooling in New York with a separate I-94 allowed to stay in the US upto October 2008 but there is no stamp on our visa. We need to travel to Nepal in summer for a couple of days and come back to go to university in New York from August 2006 and we need visa stamp on our passport so that we can avoid the hassle of going to the embassy in Kathmandu. We would appreciate your expertise in suggesting whether we should do it in Toronto or elsewhere? Your kind cooperation would be highly appreciated. Best regards, Satchet and Kripa Manhattan, New York

Dear Friend: Thanks for your info. If you did the same from Toronto, I would appreciate your explaining the exact process and when you did so. I am not sure about it as it might be a risk. Your explaining would certainly help. Waiting to hear from you soon. Best regards, Satchet and Kripa New York

I got visa stamped for me(H1) and my family(H4). I had Candian Green card. So I went to canada and applied for US visa at the US consulate. We got easily. Do you have Canadian Green card ? If not, you may have to enter Canada with tourist visa.
