Does any one have an idea how long it takes to get the green card if you go through your siblings ? Is there any kind of loopholes to expedite the process?

It takes at least a decade if not 15 years. No PR can sponsor for siblings. Only US citizens can sponsor for siblings. Here is the link for most recent and old visa bulletins. Compare the visa bulletins over years and you will see there is no significant jumps in family based immigration. - http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html

At the current processing rate: Adult citizen applying for parents and parents applying for other children: Parents and unmarried children of citizens are exempt from per country quota and overall quota. The processing might take 5 - 12 months. Needs to wait 5 years to apply for citizenship. Citizenship application generally takes 1-1 1/2 years. Then they can sponsor for your siblings for LPR. I guess by that time, all your siblings will be married. That bumps them to 3rd preference category which has waiting period of approximately 8 years. Total time=> +/- 14 years. (Sponsoring parent must be alive until the case is approved.) Adult citizen applying for siblings: The waiting period is approximately 12 years. You bet on it!!!!!!!!!

Harris Ji, My parents are US citizen and I am married. Can you give me some estimates of time. My parents applied for PR for me three years ago. That time I was already married. Thank you.

Nepali Bhaiji, You have already covered 3 years of approximately 8 years of waiting time. If the visa availability moves at current rate, your visa number becomes current after 5 years. As of now Priority date is 01 July 1998 which means the cases with I-130 approval date before July 1, 1998 can apply for adjust status (if they are in the US) or apply for LPR (if they are doing consular processing). If you are outside USA, you will have to wait for another 5-6 years to apply for permanent resident status through consular processing. If you are in the USA, you should be careful not to overstay here. Recently, I read at - http://www.murthy.com that only approved I-130 doesn't allow a status to stay in the US if there is no other non-immigrant status for that person. I mean you must maintain one of the non-immigrant status (e.g. F1 or H1) until your priority date becomes current.
