Update: Camp has left but Maoists rebels haven't released their statement yet.

In an unexpected good turn, Maoists rebels of Nepal are suspected to announce ceasefire although official announcement is yet to be seen.

According to sources, the Maoists are coming up with an official decisions within a few hours. US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South Asian Affairs, Donald Camp has been pressuring the rebels, parties and the King for a peaceful restoration of democracy in Nepal. It was learned earlier that Maoists rebels would either block the capital or announce ceasefire by Chaitra 1st.

Camp held organized a press conference second day after his visit to Nepal. He visit several political parties and was granted audience with King Gyanendra at Ratna Mandir in Pokhara.

Details and updates are awaited.
