Immediate water resources talks unlikely with India
Kathmandu, 7 May: Water resources talks with India are not likely until the appointment of a minister, Annapurna Post reports.

India has proposed official talks.

A source at the Nepal Electricity Authority said talks are meaningless until the appointment of a water resources minister.

The Indian embassy proposed the resumption of talks stalled after 1 February 2005.
