Hi friends, my visa is expiring this june 30 2006, and i am doing OPT right now so i believe that my visa status still remains F-1 (i have valid I-20 its until 2007), but I need to visit Canada in august and I want to come back to US and finish my OPT.

To come back to US again do I need to obtain a visa from Nepal (i am guessing that i will require F-1 visa again)

Any suggestion/s please.

If you're visa is expiring end of this month AND you're on OPT, I would highly recommend you not leave the country. If you were an enrolled student, it would be diffferent.

Thanks

I agree with Login. Being in OPT is never a genuine reason to be allowed for re-entry. I think it is even written somewhere at the bottom of your EAD card.
